GS Yuasa was formed in 2004 through the merger of two companies (Japan Storage Battery Co., Ltd., established in 1895 and Yuasa Corporation, established in 1913) who has both originally developed storage battery technology and products in Japan. We have brought together the traditions and the experience of both to develop our core battery business.
